About Father and Daughter


When the third *Taken* movie hit cinemas, Liam talked about his friendship with Maggie Grace on an American morning show. 
The post I'm writing here today is an excerpt from an interview Liam gave on the ABC Morning Show in 2014.
Robin Roberts conducted the interview with Liam. "It's the end."
Liam," I think the audiences will make their minds up. They always do."
Robin," I  have to say at the the heart of this as always, it's about family. "
Liam," Sure."
Robin," It's about family and you think that your character that really resonates that you're willing to do whatever it takes to protect them?"
Liam," I think we all would actually, you know? Maybe not kill people and stuff like that. That's the fantasy element. But, Yeah, I think that's what audiences related to certainly in the ... In the first two films was this bond certainly between a father and his daughter, you know. And with my guy Brain Mills, there's a certain amount of guilt there. Because he was away on operations when she was a kid and he missed a lot of her growing up. So he's kind of trying to make up for it."
Robin," He does it in a fine way. "
Liam," But I do think the basis of it is this  ... this love affair between a father and his daughter and certainly his ex-wife. And once you've got that and you believe in it and you have that emotional heart, then you take the action wherever,you know,  when that relationship is jeopardized. "
Robin," Your film daughter Maggie Grace. She's been in all three films, and do you feel like she really is your daughter?"
Liam," She is my daughter. Absolutely. Yesterday I had to meet her new boyfriend. That was ... that was quite tricky. He is actually a very sweet guy. Actually. But, I  ...I tried to kind of be stern with him, you know, say 'What are your intentions?' ,you know,  and Maggie, of course starting giggling. So I couldn't keep it up. "

Natasha was born on May 11, 1963, the first daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson. Her acting talent was practically in her blood, as her maternal grandparents were also famous actors. Vanessa Redgrave's parents were actor Michael Redgrave and her mother, Rachel Kempson. Natasha's aunt Lynn Redgrave, as well as her younger sister Joely Richardson and Joely's daughter Daisy Bevan, also pursued acting...

When Liam became a serial killer (please don't take it too seriously)

 After a break of almost three months,  which I only interrupt once or twice,  I continued yesterday my little series about Liam on Instagram.  Over the past few weeks, I've been working intensively on an interview Liam gave in 1997 at the premiere of "Michael Collins" . The interview lasts about an hour and I've listened to it almost daily.  I still listen to this interview regularly because I still discover beautiful and interesting things that Liam talks about in it. The beginning, where he talks about Michael Collins, is particularly interesting, and you can see how much Liam cares about his role model.  It was and it is primarily to improve my listening comprehension of the English language and to convey the little stories Liam tells in the interview as accurately as possible. It's a very nice and interesting interview. I will not reproduce the interview in It's normal order,  but only in the passages that I wrote down when...

Photo from the 2026 movie *Cold Storage *. It shows Liam as Robert Quinn und Lesley Manville as Trini Romano in the science fiction horror film. That was their second collaboration, after "Ordinary Love" . I hope the two of them will make another movie together.  "Cold Storage" was the first film in which Liam and his mother-in-law Vanessa Redgrave appeared on screen together.  Many little stories that Liam told from his life have crossed my path in recent days and have already found their way onto my Instagram account. These are stories that go way back into his career. I discovered an interview Liam gave to an American Sunday newspaper around 1993, which also revealed some new things about him to me.
